The North Star Hotel is a 3 Star Dublin City Centre Hotel which offer's great value for money as well as a tradition for friendly personal service in an ideal location. Rooms are basic but comfortable, each room is tastefully decorated, bright and designed to international standards. This hotel would be suited for budget travellers seeking simple, clean accommodation.

The hotel has a total of 175 guestrooms, including standard double, twin and single rooms, all with en-suite facilities. Some are smoking and some non-smoking (on request). The hotel does not have any triple rooms. There are also 3 disabled rooms on the executive side. The rooms are basic, but clean and well equipped. The new executive wing comprises 123 rooms and all these rooms have air conditioning with adjustable regulation.

Way to much train and trafic noise... room smelt damp & shower was rubbish just a trickle no good if youve got to wash your hair.... the carpets were dirty and there was a smell coming from the drain in the shower ... to hot so had to open window that was directly on railway line, hence unable to sleep because of noise... smelly room, under railwayline... The room we were given was the size of a shoe box ... was directly next to the train track. ... The room was boiling hot ... we did not want to open the windows as the noise of the passing trains... WHOLE ROOM MOVES WHEN A TRAIN GOES BY... could get a bit noisy with the traffic... My window didnt open and was covered by dirty net curtains... The sink in the bathroom leaked very time we used it ... had no airconditioning no iron and 2 tv stations dosnt make cable tv.... Every time a train passed ie every 10mins the whole room shook.... we were in a main road side room, which had a lot of traffic noise,...
